At the Faculty of Informatics, we follow world trends and provide the students with the necessary resources for modern teaching. As a center of knowledge, we are committed to the creation, dissemination, and preservation of knowledge, as well as its application for the common good of mankind. In the teaching process, we offer a combination of rigorous academic approach and motivation to acquire new knowledge based on the challenges provided by information technologies. The study program in Informatics provides the latest professional and scientific knowledge in the

following areas: programming and programming languages, databases, computer networks, software engineering, cryptography, operating systems, and web programming. The study program is fully compliant with European standards in terms of enrollment requirements, duration of studies, conditions for transfer to the next year, the manner of assessment, study, and obtaining a diploma. The teaching is completely interactive, performed with the most modern methods in modernly equipped computer laboratories. The acquisition of knowledge of our Faculty is in step with the development of information technology in the world and is in accordance with the requirements arising from the practical application in these areas. The emphasis is on practical work and mastering the necessary skills for the most attractive occupations in our country and in the world. Graduates of our Faculty work as programmers and professional staff in software companies in Northern Macedonia, Turkey, and Europe. The international character of our Faculty is reflected through a large number of students from the country and abroad. Some of the graduates of our Faculty with the acquired knowledge have successfully continued their further postgraduate education in several European countries, which is a confirmation of our commitment and aspiration to form a quality staff that knows how to apply their knowledge in practice.
